First Stop: Food Trip at SM Mall of Asia

We kicked off our night at SM Mall of Asia, hunting for a quick bite before our Malate adventure. The sea breeze from the MOA Seaside set the mood perfectly. If you ever find yourself in this area, take a moment to walk along the bay—it’s refreshing, especially before diving into the vibrant city nightlife.

But the real feast was waiting for us in Malate!

In The Zone Café & Ramen: Britney Spears + Ramen? Yes, Please! 🎤🍜

A few minutes' drive from MOA, we arrived at In The Zone Café & Ramen, a must-visit for ramen lovers and Britney Spears fans! 💃🎶

The place was an absolute vibe. From the moment we stepped in, we were surrounded by Britney Spears memorabilia—posters, records, and even themed decorations. If you’re a Britney stan, this is heaven on earth. But let’s talk about the real star of the night—the food!

🔥 What we ordered:
  • ✅ Signature Tonkotsu Ramen – Creamy broth, tender chashu, and that perfect umami kick!
  • Spicy Miso Ramen – For those who love a little heat, this one’s a game-changer.
  • ✅ Japanese Iced Coffee – A bold, smooth drink perfect for balancing out the rich ramen flavors.
  • ✅ Takoyaki & Gyoza – Because a ramen night isn’t complete without side dishes!
📌 Food Verdict: The ramen was solid, and the ambiance was something you wouldn’t expect in the heart of Manila. Imagine slurping your ramen while Britney’s greatest hits are playing in the background—iconic!

Next Stop: Chelu Bar – Where the Party Never Stops! 🌈🍹

Of course, our night wouldn’t be complete without experiencing Manila’s vibrant LGBTQ+ nightlife. Chelu Bar, one of Malate’s most famous queer bars, was the perfect next stop!

🌟 What makes Chelu Bar special?
  • ✔ Drag Performances – The queens SERVED looks and performances that had the entire crowd hyped!
  • ✔ Inclusive & Fun Crowd – The energy was unmatched. Everyone was there to celebrate life, love, and self-expression!
  • ✔ Affordable Drinks – Budget-friendly cocktails and beers? Yes, please!

🍸 What we drank:

🍹 Margaritas & Mojitos – Classic, refreshing, and perfect for a wild night.
🍾 Shots – Because, why not? A party at Chelu isn’t complete without a round of shots!

From the fabulous drag performances to the non-stop dancing, Chelu was the perfect way to end our night. If you’re in Manila and looking for a safe space with great music, amazing people, and unforgettable performances—Chelu Bar is the place to be!

 Was It Worth It?

  • ✅ In The Zone Café & Ramen – 10/10 for Britney fans and ramen lovers! Great food, unique ambiance, and an experience you won’t find anywhere else.
  • ✅ Chelu Bar – 11/10 for a wild and memorable night out! The atmosphere was electric, the drinks were flowing, and the performances were top-tier.

✨ TIPS if you plan to do this trip:

Make a reservation at In The Zone Café if you're going during peak hours.
Bring cash for Chelu Bar; some drinks are cheaper when paid in cash.
Be ready to dance, laugh, and sing along!
This was definitely a night to remember. If you’re planning your next food trip + nightlife adventure in Manila, add these two spots to your list!
