Ballroom dancing has always been a passion of mine, and it’s amazing to look back at the incredible journey I’ve had alongside my dance partner, Lauren Balanay. Six to seven years ago, we poured our hearts into mastering a variety of ballroom stunts, competing in numerous routines, and creating unforgettable memories. This throwback video also ties into an exciting chapter in my YouTube creator journey—my participation in the YouTube Space Manila Production Workshop. Back in 2017, this four-day event was a game-changer for aspiring YouTubers like me. Held at the BGC Art Center in Taguig, this workshop provided local creators with hands-on training in video production, lighting, sound design, and more. It was an inspiring opportunity to connect with other creators, level up my skills, and understand what goes into creating high-quality content. As part of the workshop, I hoped to shoot an instructional video on how to safely and effectively execute the ten ballroom stunts featured in my compilation. While the event celebrated YouTube creativity, it also motivated me to blend my passion for dance with my evolving skills in content creation.

YouTube Space Manila wasn’t just about workshops; it was an inspiring platform to nurture Filipino creators, helping them refine their craft and reach a broader audience.
