During the lockdown, like many others, I found myself searching for new hobbies to help manage the stress and uncertainty of the times. That’s when I discovered the calming world of indoor plants. Becoming an indoor plant enthusiast gave me a sense of purpose and a way to connect with nature, even while confined within the four walls of my home. The soothing green leaves and the satisfaction of nurturing something alive became a therapeutic escape from the anxieties brought on by the pandemic. Over time, my collection grew, and I became particularly fascinated with Sansevieria, commonly known as snake plants, due to their striking appearance and low-maintenance nature.
Recently, I decided to expand my collection with two rare varieties: Sansevieria Dawei and Sansevieria Fernwood. I purchased them online through Shopee Philippines, eager to add these unique species to my urban jungle. The excitement of unboxing these plants was like opening a gift to myself—a reminder of the resilience and growth we all aspire to during challenging times. In my latest vlog, I share this unboxing experience, showcasing the beauty and distinctive characteristics of these snake plants.
