Streamlining My Micro Living Condo: Installing a Bladeless Fan, Sound Bar & Managing Cables!

Living in a micro condo means every inch of space counts! Recently, I took on a mini home-improvement project to optimize my small home office setup. First on the list was installing a bladeless electric fan on the wall. Not only does this free up floor space, but it also adds a sleek, modern touch to the room. This fan is ideal for small spaces since it delivers powerful airflow without taking up extra room. Next, I mounted a sound bar just above my TV, creating an immersive entertainment setup that’s perfect for movie nights or relaxing with music after a long day. The sound bar’s position also makes it easy to control remotely, which is an added bonus! 

 The most challenging (and rewarding) part was organizing all the cables! With multiple devices in such a small area, wire management was essential to keep things tidy and functional. I spent half the day hiding cables, securing them to the wall, and using clips to keep everything in place. While it was exhausting, the end result is a clutter-free space that feels more organized and comfortable. This mini project has made my micro-living condo feel even more functional and inviting. If you’re looking to make the most of a small space, I definitely recommend investing time in wire management and considering wall-mounted appliances to maximize your living area.

🔴LIVE: Talking About College Life and 10 Years Later with Bonjo.

Remember on my last blog post wherein I went to Maginhawa St. for food tripping with my college friends. Before we headed towards the street of Maginhawa to grab a bite; our main destination was the Philippine Children Medical Center for my friends’ COVID19 swab test. 

While waiting inside the car, Bonjo and I decided to go on Live via Youtube to share our discussion with my community – Tansyong Lovers. We talked about Adulting and what are the changes we actually noticed from the time we studied at the same University versus life after 10 years. It was truly nostalgic and fun.

VLOG: I Am Craving For Rotisserie Chicken and Beef Soup.

 In my last blog post, we featured and reviewed some of my purchased items from Lazada - Aroma Fog Solution for Humidifier and Spices Jar.  But today, I will be sharing with you my recent happenings in my life in the last few days. 

Rotisserie Chicken aka Lechon Manok.

I just woke up at midnight to grab a bite. After that, I marinated a whole chicken for a rotisserie preparation. Rotisserie chicken is a chicken dish that is cooked on a rotisserie by using direct heat in which the chicken is placed next to the heat source. Electric- or gas-powered heating elements may be used by using adjustable infrared heat. Having an air-fryer helps me a lot in cooking and it is nice to have at home. I am able to prepare and cook my own Chicken Rotisserie Recipe anytime. Whenever I craved for Lechon Manok, I can cook at the comfort of my condo unit and no longer need to buy outside. 

Beef Soup aka Nilagang Baka.

Meanwhile, it was the 2nd dose of my anti-rabies vaccine since I got a scratch from a street cat. Every time I got vaccinated, I felt feverish and so, it is perfect to cook for Nilagang Baka. Nilagang Baka is a Filipino beef soup cooked until the meat becomes really tender and with vegetables like potatoes, beans, and cabbage that makes this simple soup healthy and flavorful. This dish is one of my favorite Filipino cuisines.

Buying Expensive Coffee Presser Out of Impulse.

My plastic pitcher broke and I have nothing to use for cold drinking water that fits on my refrigerator’s compartment. I was reluctant to go outside during mall hours to buy one because I am trying to avoid the crowded areas as there is a surge of Omicron variant – COVID19. Hence, it is essential for me, at least to have a cold water supply and I decided to quickly go to the nearest Home and Kitchen supply store situated in Pavilion, Greenfield District. To my surprise, the security guard told me that the said store where I frequently bought plastic products is already closed for more than one year. I am a patron f such store – Japan Home, as it is affordable. That’s when I realized that it’s been one year that I haven’t visited the said establishment and sadly numerous stores are closed due to pandemics. The place is silent and dark inside so I decided not to head inside anymore.

While I was walking back to my condo unit, I thought of heading to SM Megamall since I am already outside and I have no plan of going outside again unless it is important, then I decided to just go to SM Megamall which is only a 5-minute walk from Pavilion. I’ll check if there is an available pitcher similar to what I had. I went to the department store and found a glass version for the amount of PHP500. 

While sauntering in the department store, I saw a coffee presser and I remembered that my coffee-maker is no longer working. Coffee is my life as someone who worked at night. I decided to buy one; it was amounting to PHP3, 000. Yes, it was expensive and I grabbed it due to impulse, only I realized after that, I haven’t checked the pricing of coffee presser online via Shopee or Lazada for comparison. 

It was funny because I kept reminding myself as part of denial that maybe it is expensive in line with its durability. But honestly, I must admit that I had a little bit of remorse haha. It was not practical because I can already buy 2 coffee makers on the said amount. I admit I failed on that part.

Despite of somewhat, I called –“little remorse” when it comes to functionality, it did really work. It is just that, every time I am using my newly-purchased coffee presser, I always make sure to handle it with extra care, not to fall on the floor or any reason to get it broken. “Ang Mahal Kaya”, but I really love using it.

Now a beginner vlogger for "10-Minute Wala'y Edit Edit Sirit wherein she showcases her spontaneity as the vlog runs for 10 minutes w/o editing. She is also the founder of Pinoys Heart Britney - one of the biggest Britney Spear fandoms in the PH.

Dan Sy Lopez.

Dan Sy Lopez is a 29-year-old Cebu-based actor, model, nurse, entrepreneur, and product endorser. 

He has been in the entertainment industry for 11 years and starred in six theater projects, 15 television series, more than 20 short films, and 49 drama anthologies.

After his stint with ABS-CBN Cebu, Dan is currently under the wing of CCTN's top-billed different television series. He is also into the theater and independent films.  

His excellent performance for the short film "Bahandi" made him win as Best Actor during the 4th Sinegugma Cebuano Film Festival in 2018.

Joseph is a 21-year-old Cebuano aspiring actor, singer, and performer. Mama Mayumi is his 3rd short film experience. He is also an artist of  PPhilmoda Entertainment Production starting June 25, 2021 - an exclusive agency for elite models, artists, and would-be models/artists. The said agency also serves as his exclusive manager & handler.

He is an Aspiring SK Chairman of Poblacion, Pardo.

REVIEW: Overnight Stay At Royal Palm Residences, Taguig City.

We have decided to discreetly book an apartment unit at Royal Palm Residences in Taguig City to celebrate my friend's birthday - William Pombo. That was exciting because that said plan for a surprise party was agreed upon by the majority - there are Britney Spears's Fans who became my circle of friends.   

 

We opted for the said Condominium Establishment because it has a swimming pool and is accessible within Metro Manila; no need to drive away from the city just to experience a staycation and celebration at the same time. It is also nearby Maple Place, Rosewood Pointe, and Mulberry Place, maybe that is one of the reasons why short-term rental is affordable because it is surrounded by nearby condo establishments that offer with same services.

While the two-high rise buildings are named Kamala and Rawai. Those two buildings have has 

14 Levels Residential Floors, 3 Level Podium Parking, 1 Level Basement Parking. We stayed in Kamala Building so the sunset can be seen in front of the balcony.

FEEDBACK:

I love the place. Especially, if you have your own unit, I assumed that you'll get relaxed during weekends from your tiring work because the place is not crowded unlike with Azure Urban Resort and Residences. This establishment is a residential place but became open to the public for short-term leases like a weekend staycation; during the boom of Airbnb, among others.

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐

The Unit that we booked, I love it. It has plenty of rooms and bathrooms. It has a maid room and master bedroom. It has complete kitchen utensils and cooking equipment so we're able to cook our food for the party. A ref that we put the birthday cake and drinks. It has also a wifi connection and cable for television. When it comes to cleanliness, I didn't see any cockroaches and insects, nor foul smell.

I only noticed the discoloration on the common bathtub and some molds on the gutter. But on the master's bedroom-owned washroom, it was extremely elegant and pristine.

General Facilities in this establishment are complete. So, if I live here, I maybe not go out unless buying grocery supplies.

The developer is DMCI Homes, so no questions when it comes to aesthetics. But the solemnity of the place is what I loved. You knew the fact that you can go to any amenities without going to a long queue. And above all, you can set down in one of the gazebos and not worrying your belongings might get stolen due to overcrowding.

TIPS:

1. When looking for a staycation. Make sure to ask the owner - what day the swimming pool is not open to the public. There are days that swimming pools are only exclusive for the unit owners and not to guests. There are also days that amenities are close to both unit owners and guests due to weekly maintenance.
2. If you don't own a car, and you've booked for a staycation; much better if you buy all your food and groceries before heading to the establishment because you have to walk for a few minutes just to get out of the area and reach the public vehicle terminal. Indeed, if you have heavy baggage from shopping, tricycles are not allowed inside.

A Podcast is a digital audio file made available on the internet for downloading to a computer or mobile device, typically available as a series, new installments of which can be received by subscribers automatically. It is a multi-media digital file distributed over the Internet to be watched and listened to on a computer, iPod, or another device. A radio program distributed exclusively over the Internet and listened to on people's iPods is an example of a podcast.

Meanwhile, due to the popularity of youtube, podcasters uploaded the episodes on the said video streaming site but this time around, podcasters can now be seen in a video format. And, that's when webcast was born. The webcast is a video broadcast of an event transmitted over the internet.
