The Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID or IATF) is a task force organized by the executive of the Philippine government to respond to affairs concerning emerging infectious diseases in the Philippines. The said agency releases data as of Aug 9,2021 regarding the information of the Vaccine's Brands being rolled out in the country.

I was surprised by how fast and efficient the process was.

Aug 16,2021 I went to Barangay Highway Hills to provide my name.

On Aug 17, I got my appointment set up and posted on their Facebook page.

Arrived at the RTU Gymnasium at 11:00 AM and left at 11:13 AM. That was the quickest vaccination ever which only took 13mins literally.

Congrats to Mandaluyong City Public Information Office.

TIPS - Start to End Process.

Here is the list of what I did:

• 1. Pre-register at  https://mandavax.mandaluyong.gov.ph/Mandaluyong/manda-vaccine/
• 2. Once registered, DO download the bar-coded registration form. You can keep it on your phone or have it printed.
• 3. Tip: Do not wait for a text message or call, based on my experience, I have already registered on Feb.2021 but no one confirms my appointment.  I suggest going personally to your Barangay Hall and have them update the status. They'll post your appointment on their Facebook page.
• 4. TIP - The Front Desk of your Baranggay will ask for the printed copy of the bar-coded registration form so have it prepared for your convenience.
• 5. If you're a senior citizen and computer illiterate, let them know so they'll provide you the hard copy to fill out.  Once Submitted, you just have to keep checking your name  posted on their Facebook
• 6. Calling the hotlines is not advisable, honestly, I kept calling them but no one answered. In addition, if you have no phone at home, it is risky to go outside and utilize the payphone as random people used the payphone and might be the reason that you'll get infected.

• 7. Once you have confirmed  your appointment, go to the designated Vaccination Site
• 8. TIP: The faster you fill out the questionnaire, the quicker you'll get vaccinated. So, I suggest preparing your Philhealth Number, Address, and etc.
• Once vaccinated, you'll have to stay at least 10 mins to observe if you'll get an allergic reaction but believe me, you don't have to stay that long because the moment you'll get an allergy, you will feel it right away - like itchiness, dizziness, and difficulty of breathing, just like the way you feel when you'll have an allergic reaction to kinds of seafood.
• Please keep your vaccination card because it will indicate your next dose appointment. 
• TIP: Bragging to social media is understandable but refrain from posting your vaccination card or bar-coded registration form online as it contains your private information like complete address, complete name, and medical records that can be used in phishing later on by online hackers.

DON'T Be choosy on the Vaccine Brand.

I understand this mantra "We Deserved Better", and being picky on the brand e.g. Pfizer, AstraZeneca, Sinovac, Sputnik V, Bharat, Moderna, NovaVax, and Janssen - is everyone's prerogative. However, in times like these when everyone is seeking the vaccine, can you afford to wait for a long time for the availability of the best brand when you're at risk of getting infected anytime.

Getting vaccinated is the main goal whichever brand is available. This is a matter of limited supply, sense of urgency, and efficacy of vaccine based on brand - those are factors you have to consider.

📺 WATCH : I am Applying As an Online ESL Teacher.

English as a second or foreign language is the use of English by speakers with different native languages. Language education for people learning English may be known as English as a second language (ESL).

In this vlog episode, I will be trying to apply as an Online ESL tutor, and let us see if I will pass the evaluation.  I will give it a try at the company named RareJob, which is an online ESL company that caters to the Japanese. It conducts through virtual classrooms instead of using traditional modes of education. This means that a lesson is done conveniently with the use of an Internet connection and a computer, tablet, or Smartphone. Online ESL schools use website platforms for their service. This is where the students and tutors access learning materials, system support, and the like.

Meanwhile, I will also stock enough grocery supplies because the Philippine Government pronounced - that another Enhanced Community Quarantine (ECQ) will be taking place effective August 6 to 20, 2021. This is already the third hard-lockdown forced by the Government since 2020 when the Covid19 Pandemic started to hit the country. This is already the third hard-lockdown forced by the Government since 2020 when the Covid19 Pandemic started to hit the country. As part of my preparation, I stocked groceries inside my unit and planning that I will be cooking my own food for the rest of the said lockdown. This has been my practice ever since the Pandemic – preparing my own food every meal. 

Unfortunately, the Dowell Induction Cooker that I’ve been using for almost one year had a problem. I brought it to the nearest appliance repair shop, and almost four weeks passed – still they haven’t fixed it yet. In addition, my small multi-cooker is no longer in my possession as I decluttered my condo unit and I sent it to the province so they can use it. I decided to buy a new Induction Cooker online but sadly I got a defective item and I have to return it to the seller. 

Since I ended up with nothing left to use in cooking my food, I purchased a multi-cooker.

Honest Review

First Impression: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Aesthetically, It has glossy-finished and I loved the combination of colors black and red which reminds me of the ILO Multi-cooker from O-shopping when they were still in operation. Actually, the color of the said Kyowa Multi-Cooker matched on my Ilo Air-fryer.

It is also a space-saver which is perfect if you’re living in a small apartment or condominium unit.  

Price ⭐⭐⭐⭐

When it comes to the price which is amounting to Php3, 360, I must admit that it is quite pricey for me as someone who works in a 9-5 job. But the price is something we might forget in the latter part of the product will last longer as expected. As of the time being, I can’t say that the product is durable because it takes years for you to say that the product is really worth the price when you’ve used it for a long span of time. Honestly, buying this appliance on Php3, 360 amount is undeniably a gamble but when I actually added this item to the cart, I’ve read several positive reviews which makes me feel confident to check this out and pay. I’ll just hope for the best.

Power Consumption.⭐⭐⭐⭐

Honestly, this is the area that I cannot provide any feedback on because I am not monitoring my electricity at all since I am using Pre-paid Mercalco Kuryente Load, I only get every morning a notification on how much I have consumed for the past 24 hours. I have numerous appliances operating 24 hours like Air-condition, refrigerator, modem, Himalayan lamp, and others- that I ignored monitoring the amount since the electric price in Manila is stressful to keep an eye on. But I must say, nothing changes from my day-to-day consumption so far. 

Final Thought. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

In the span of one week, I’ve been cooking few dishes e.g. Pork Adobo sa Pula, Pork Sinigang, and Pork Red Curry. The product cooks fast and it is reliable. It delivers well as what I am expecting. I only find it hassle when washing it because due to its pot’s size, it doesn’t fit on my tiny sink. But overall, I love the said product and I hope this will last longer.
