📹 WATCH: Let it Go –Frozen Parody of Philippines.

Frozen is one the favourite Disney movies among Filipinos. And so do I. Watch the video below as a transpinay creates a comical Frozen Parody.

In the movie Frozen, the sound track entitled “Let it go” became hit in the whole world. It is a song wherein the character named ELSA performed in the middle of the snow. Due to its popularity, various parodies were created. But one parody made me laugh- performed by Rapunzel, a Transpinay who is working as a floor manager in a Hosto Bar situated in Malate Manila. I met her during my visit in the bar where she’s currently working.

Her parody is truly related to the Philippines (specifically Manila), because she executed it in the middle of typhoon while her area was flooded. She took advantage of the flood and created a random video portraying ELSA in the movie. The set of a real flooded area instead of snow made her video more viral online. She also wore a blue fairy costume emulating Elsa’s character.

Pampalipas oras lang namin yun(That was just an ice breaker)”, Rapunzel said.

Wala kasi kaming customer the entire night dahil sa baha, kaya naisipan nalang namin gumawa ng video (We had no customer that whole night due to the flood, so we come up the idea of creating  that video)” she added.
